Interview with Don from Bears in the Kitchen
Don, why don’t you tell us a little bit about your love for cooking. How long have you been cooking? I have had an interest in cooking since I was a child. The earliest spanking I can remember is when I was about 5 years old. My mom went to pick up my dad from work and left me at home alone. I thought I would help her get a start on supper, so emptied all the leftovers in the fridge and put it on the stove to heat, then went and hid so it would be a surprise. By the time my mom and dad got home, it was burning in the pan and the kitchen was full of smoke. My dad laughed about it, but my mom gave me a spanking for turning on the stove.
2 years of Bear Underground: where we’ve been, and how we’re doing
Much like with any decent long term relationship, some days it feels like things just started, while other days it feels like you've been together forever. And today, on the 2 year anniversary of us officially launching Bear Underground to the public, this feels more true than ever.

Bearunderground.net sees huge growth and slects DJ Shane Phoenix as their official DJ
We are very excited to announce that today June 16th 2012, BearBounce The Radio show hosted by DJ Shane Phoenix, has a new Official Sponsor. As well, BearUnderground.net has for the first time, named an Official DJ for their website and Brand. QueerChannel Media LLC the Media group behind QCRadio and QCTV are very excited as well. "We love Shane Phoenix, and the show BearBounce, it has been nothing but a very positive outreach for large portions of the LGBT Community, The Bear community traditionally does not get the recognition it deserves for its talents and charitable work in main stream LGBT Press and we are so very happy to be part of changing that" says Max Renfroe PR of QCM. DJ Shane Phoenix has been a prominent voice in the Bear Community for over 15 years, he has been interviewed by, Billboard, Muzic, Scene, A Bears Life, Bear and GLAM magazines. His weekly radio show is listened to by hundreds of thousands worldwide and he has been spinning music since 1987. "I have had lots of sponsors over the years, but I have to say I am very very excited about BearUnderground.net coming on board, They have a great community website and are very engaging on their focus to make their users happy, I look forward to the many things that are going to be coming out of this partnership, like some special event nights and even more, I’m very excited to say the least" says Shane Phoenix. Ian and Phil, Owners and founders of BearUnderground.net, when asked about this new partnership say this "We're extremely excited for the opportunity to partner with DJ Shane Pheonix. At Bear Underground, we're all about both creating a great online environment for the Bear Community, but also helping the community out where we can. Longevity
While they were a competitor of ours, it is always sad to hear of something not working out in the bear community. This is the case with BigBearDen which recently shut its doors after about a year of being online. In light of that, I want to stress to our community that we are in this for the long haul and will be around for a long time to come.

Third Time’s the Charm
Well, I'm sure you've all noticed we've updated the look of Bear Underground once again. While I wasn't intending on doing a visual refresh so soon after the last one, the usability feedback I'd continually received prompted me to make these changes.
Regarding Issues Showing Webcam in Chat Rooms after Flash Update
I’ve had reports of some users having problems enabling their webcam in the chat rooms after a recent flash upgrade.
